Cortana Terms of Use

Cortana is a privately operated assistant for Brian’s authorized accounts and work. It is not a public service or a Google product, and is not endorsed by Google, Anthropic or OpenAI.

Access and authorization

Use is limited to authorized users and accounts. Connecting an account permits only the scopes and enabled capabilities that have been approved. Explicit approval remains required for protected actions, including sending messages and other actions governed by Cortana’s approval rules.

Review and reliability

AI answers and proposed actions can be incorrect or incomplete. Review recipients, accounts, dates and proposed changes before approval. Connections, notifications and reminders can be interrupted; do not rely on Cortana as the sole safeguard for critical deadlines or emergencies.

Data and connected services

The Privacy Policy describes data handling. Google and other connected services remain subject to their own terms. Users must have permission to access and use the information they connect.

Availability and ending access

Features may be paused for maintenance, budget limits, permission failures or safety checks. Disconnecting an account ends future access through that connection, but retained records are handled separately under the Privacy Policy.
