Cortana — private assistant
Cortana is Brian’s private assistant for his own work and connected accounts. It brings conversation, approved knowledge, scheduling and email tasks into one private interface.
Connected Google services
For accounts Brian connects, enabled features can read email and calendar information, prepare drafts, send explicitly approved messages, organize approved batches of mail and create or update calendar events. Task features require separate enablement and the appropriate account permissions.
Google permissions are granted through Google’s consent screen. Cortana does not ask for a Google password. A connected account does not authorize every possible action: Cortana applies its own account, approval and capability restrictions.
Private access
Cortana is not open for public registration. This page describes the application; it does not expose the private assistant or its records.
AI assistance
Cortana can use Anthropic and OpenAI to interpret requests and answer from information permitted for that feature. Data-sharing restrictions and action approvals remain separate from account connection.
